Team
Kevin Lynch, Founder
and President
Kevin has specific expertise in structuring and
executing distribution, inventory and supply chain
finance transactions. He has managed portfolios
of distribution finance clients and has an international
banking background. Eight years were spent with
Deutsche Financial Services (DFS), a distribution
finance and inventory finance company. After DFS,
Kevin was based in Frankfurt with Deutsche Bank
in the INternational Risk Review Group. Prior
to founding LogisticsFinance, Kevin worked with
Silicon Valley Bank focusing on business development,
relationship management, and underwriting of emerging
growth, venture-backed and middle-market technology
companies in both the Life Sciences Group and
Supply Chain Services Group. Kevin earned an MBA
from the University of Denver, which included
a foreign business study program in Hong Kong,
CHina and Singapore; University of Colorado, Bachelor
of Arts, Economics.
Alexander J. Banz,
Partner and Managing Director Europe
Based in Switzerland, Alexander has a background
in engineering, finance and high tech. He holds
a MBA from IMD Lausanne Switzerland and an MScEE
from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
His previous positions include head of Growth
Capital and Technology Investment for 3i in the
Benelux, M&A Director for KPN Telecom.
Ed Collins, Board of Advisors
Ed Collins is currently Senior Director of Global Logistics with Crocs
shoes. Prior to Crocs Ed was part of the LogisticsFinance management
team working on projects in the United States, Aisa and Europe. His
previous assignment was as the COO of OIA Global Logistics. During his
tenure at OIA he instituted their supply chain management practice with
unique buy-move-sell processes delivered to leading apparel and footwear
clients for raw material sourcing and distribution to factories in
Southeast Asia and China. Prior to OIA Ed was with iSuppli Corporation
where he was the Vice President of Supply Chain Management and Professional
Services. Ed had a five plus year relationship with UPS Supply Chain
Services initially as a consultant and later as Vice President of Business
Development. Prior to the UPS experience, Ed enjoyed a 20 year career in
manufacturing and distribution operations with IBM. His capstone
assignment at IBM was as the Manager of International Trade Operations
for IBM-US.
Ed has a BS in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
He has completed IBMs Executive Management Development Program through the
Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. Mr. Collins is a frequent speaker
at Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and APICS events. He
is also a co-holder of a US Patent on Logistics Cost Optimization Modeling.
